Gentle Morning Practice - Fall 1

The Yoga Practice:

A great way to start your morning and get the body moving. This practice focuses on calm movements flowing with breath. The class will be different week to week and will typically be composed of starting savasana, gentle seated movement and stretches, breathing exercises (pranayama), laying on your back stretching your legs and arms as well as some gentle strengthening exercises and finally ending with savasana and a guided meditation and a seated farewell.
Yoga bolsters, straps and blankets will be provided, and you are welcome to bring any additional props you wish.

Payment Structure:

The Wednesday Fall 1 Session is purchased in a 5 class block for $125 including HST.

*no classes Sept 20th - Oct 4th

To reserve your spot e-transfer $125 to ash@fuelyourflow.com with ‘Wednesday Fall 1 Session’ noted.

If you miss a class it cannot be made up at a different time however, you may gift or sell your class to someone else. Please let Ashlie know ahead of time.

Who is it for:

All levels welcome.

No experience necessary.

Injuries are welcome and can be modified so the practice feels good and you help heal instead of hurt any injuries.

Must be able to get down on the floor and up again unassisted.

Location:

The studio is on the second floor of Yellow Door, a luxurious spa, and therefore has 16 stairs to enter the studio. The door to the studio is directly to the right of the Yellow Door café and spa. (After practice tea or coffee anyone?)
When you go up the stairs you are welcomed into a beautiful lobby and down the hall there are treatment rooms for the spa. At the end of the hallway is the yoga studio (pictured below).

There is paid street parking and a paid parking lot directly behind the studio. The studio is located behind Anthropologie. You may find free street parking further away if you don’t mind a walk.

Therapeutic Yoga - Summer Session

THE YOGA PRACTICE:

Develop an understanding and true listening to your body. Learn tools and techniques to help with mobility issues, breathing techniques, anxiety and stress, injuries and how to support your nervous system so you feel more calm, balanced and strong.
Yoga bolsters, straps and blankets will be provided, and you are welcome to bring any additional props you wish.

Summer Session June 2 - Aug 18 (no class July 7) 10am-11:15am

PAYMENT STRUCTURE:

The Friday Summer Session is purchased in a 11 class block for $275 including HST.

Regulate Together is a 4 week online family yoga workshop. The workshop is for parents and children who want to feel more calm and connected in stressful and uncertain times. We will explore strategies and movements that can be used to create a more calm baseline and better manage explosive tantrums and outbursts through breathing exercises, partner rocking and gentle yoga.
